The town was made of paper, but the memories were not...

You will go to the paper towns and you will never come back...

I was so excited when I found out this was being made into a movie! Paper Towns is definitely my favourite John Green book and personally I believe it's better than The Fault In Our Stars...(sorry all you TFIOS fans out there!) and I highly recommend you all read the book.

Paper Towns sees the return of Nat Wolff as lead character Quentin Jacobsen and mode/musician/actress/eyebrowns Cara Delevingne as the mystery of Margo Roth-Spiegelman. After a night of adventure, Margo disappears leaving behind clues as she always does. Quentin and his friends discover said clues as set off on a roller-coaster road trip on a quest to find her.

I won't give away too much about this movie as I hate spoilers myself but one thing I will say is keep your eyes pealed for a cheeky lil cameo from one of John Green and Nat Wolff's good friends ;)

Overall though, I loved the movie just as much as I loved the book...which to be honest is rare. It was interesting to see Cara Delevingne being more than just a pretty face and it was really hard not to fall in love with Nat Wolff...I want my own Quentin Jacobsen!

Have you seen Paper Towns already? If so...what did you think?

  1. I can't wait to see this movie as I liked the book (although TFIOS is hands down my favourite film EVER). I'm also really interested to see Cara Delevingne as an actress. xoxo

  2. Great post! I went to see the film on Friday and was really excited because it's one of my favourite books. I completely loved it! I actually planned on writing a blog post on it today but it'll be on Wednesday instead x

  3. I thought it was a really great film- not as metaphorical and mysterious as the book- but I really did enjoy it a lot! x

    1. If it was to be exactly the same as the book I think it would be a lot more complicated and difficult to understand to those who haven't read the book beforehand x
