The town was made of paper, but the memories were not...

You will go to the paper towns and you will never come back...

I was so excited when I found out this was being made into a movie! Paper Towns is definitely my favourite John Green book and personally I believe it's better than The Fault In Our Stars...(sorry all you TFIOS fans out there!) and I highly recommend you all read the book.

Paper Towns sees the return of Nat Wolff as lead character Quentin Jacobsen and mode/musician/actress/eyebrowns Cara Delevingne as the mystery of Margo Roth-Spiegelman. After a night of adventure, Margo disappears leaving behind clues as she always does. Quentin and his friends discover said clues as set off on a roller-coaster road trip on a quest to find her.

I won't give away too much about this movie as I hate spoilers myself but one thing I will say is keep your eyes pealed for a cheeky lil cameo from one of John Green and Nat Wolff's good friends ;)

Overall though, I loved the movie just as much as I loved the book...which to be honest is rare. It was interesting to see Cara Delevingne being more than just a pretty face and it was really hard not to fall in love with Nat Wolff...I want my own Quentin Jacobsen!

Have you seen Paper Towns already? If so...what did you think?

Who Runs The World // Power Playlist

Everyone needs a bit of girl power every now and again...

I'm no music expert and I don't know any technical terms to describe it properly...nor am I gonna pretend I do.
This weeks post is simply a playlist.
A playlist full of sing-out-loud pop songs all by strong powerful female artists.

Just remember...

Summer, Stalling & Shock // Life Update

A "classic" ezzlepops post...a little life update...

So if you follow me on Instagram then you will know that at the start of my summer holidays I spent two weeks in the sunny South of France. I would do a post about it but to be honest it was pretty similar to last year which I blogged about HERE.

Bastille Day fireworks 2015
On our return to the UK we were greeted by some pretty rubbish weather which really sucked...I mean, it's supposed to be summer!!

Shortly after arriving home I had my first ever driving lesson. It actually went a lot better than I though it would! (I only stalled the car once!) Between then and now I've become a lot more comfortable and my instructor was very impressed the other day and called me a natural :)

I'm one of those people who will say before the end of term "let me know when you're free and we can organise something fun to do!" to everyone and then never get round to doing anything about it. This year was different, I managed to find a time when my whole friendship group was free and organised a picnic...well that what would have happened if the weather hadn't got in the way. We all still had fun though; pizza at mine before popping down the village for an ice cream then back to mine for a "scary" movie (I say "scary"...it was a pretty shockingly awful cheap-budget movie ;P).

Also on my return to the UK I decided I need to try losing some weight...at least all the extra weight I put on during study leave! To do this I bought Charlotte Crosby's '3 Minute Belly Blitz' DVD. If she could do it then so could I. I actually enjoy doing this more than I expected as some of the lessons are really fun but some also do make you feel like you're dying!

If you're a long-term reader of my blog you will know that last year I worked in a sports shop, unfortunately 3 months after I started there the shop was closing down. Since November I haven't had a job but now that I have loads of spare time (and complete lack of money!) I decided it was time to find a new one. After emailing literally everywhere nearby, I received quite a few responses and interviews. So now I have a job working at my favourite coffee shop :D

In Scotland, we sit exams a lot earlier than those in England so therefore our results day is a lot earlier too...last Tuesday to be precise! I was so nervous about these results that I decided I would stay up waiting for my email/text...I lasted to about 2am before I had to get some sleep! 6 hours later and my results were sitting waiting for me. I was expecting the worst (especially after the shock of the maths exam...did any of you hear about that?!) but was actually really surprised and shocked but super happy because now this means I have a better chance of getting into the courses I want to do at uni next year!

What've you been up to so far this summer?
