Everyone deserves a second chance to clean up their mistakes...

Just like I believe that everything happens for a reason and that fairy-tale endings do exist. I believe everyone deserves a second chance.

I have come to conclude this because, over time, I have been given my fair share of second chances.

In 2013 I moved school, this gave me a fresh start and a chance to make new friends. I'll admit I did do some stupid things and made some silly mistakes but if I didn't then I wouldn't be where I am now. Fr
om these mistakes I was given second chances with friends which to be honest didn't work out great as we're still not on the bests of terms right now.

However some second chances are some of the best decisions I have made. Last year, I though I would do the right thing and tell my best friend that I had heard a group of girls saying horrible things about her...wrong thing to do. A few days later everything kicked off because she had confront said group of girls and turned them all against me as well as ignoring me all the way up to the holidays. On the last day of those two weeks I received an apology by text from my her and I forgave her for what she did. Ever since then she has been one of my best friends who I know that I can always rely on to be there for me, trust with my life and always knows the right things to say...well most of the time.

When we're younger we tend to fall for people easily, and often the wrong people. During a disagreement with some old friends a couple of years ago, a boy was involved...first showing interest in me before swiftly moving onto one of my best friends at the time. As you would imagine, I was upset but also a bit angry with both of them.

Two years later that same boy has started talking to me again, and here's the dilemma. He's said he really regrets treating me the way he did and wished it never happened. And after speaking to him for a bit now, I'm starting to believe that he actually means it and is trying to change things.

So you know what...maybe I will give him that second chance if he wants it.

Throwing It Out There...

If I'm being honest, I'm not really happy about this whole blogging thing at the moment.

I constantly feel like changing the appearance of my blog as days I feel it's too childish or too boring. Whenever anyone gives advise on a successful blog they always mention it's layout. Visuals are what attract people to a blog and I feel mine doesn't do that. The problem is I'm never happy with it, I can't find a style that truly represents 'ezzlepops' which I really like.

Another thing it's lacking is content. I've really been struggling to sit down and actually create worthy content. Content that people enjoy reading and share with others or content which draws people in that they come back every week.

So here's what I'm asking...
What makes you sit down and read a blog post?
What type of posts do you like reading?
If you ran 'ezzlepops' what would you change?

Please, be honest with your answers. Feedback on this kind on this topic, to me, is the most important thing and I would really appreciate your opinions.

Use Your &

One thing I love about Louise from SprinkleOfGlitter is her ability to inspire. If it wasn't for her then I wouldn't have heard of this campaign and I wouldn't was thought of this blog post idea.

Despite the multiple videos and blog posts about "How to be a better you" or ones written about how to improve, as a teenager it's really difficult to be positive all the time, especially when it come to ourselves. Self-shaming can become a real problem and knock you back in multiply situations, we're not embracing the qualities we have like we should be & not using them to our advantage in life but instead letting them limit our potential.

"Venus invites you and women everywhere to take a stand against one-dimensional labels."

So to celebrate what Venus is promoting I have created the 'Use Your &' tag.
It's simple and I encourage, not only those who tag you, but anyone reading this to join in!

Follow these five steps and have fun! 1. Grab the "Use Your &" logo from the top of the post and share a list of your qualities titled; "I am..."
2. If you get stuck or can't think of anymore; ask your friends and family around you to describe you using three words and see what they say
3. Thank the blogger who tagged you and include link to Venus' video above 4. Tag as many people as you one and encourage them to use their &!
5. This one isn't a necessary step but I would be always appreciative if you linked back to my blog if you do the tag (free cookies will be on their way to you! But seriously, thank you if you do!

New Music Obsession...New City Kings

After seeing McBusted last week I have become obsessed with listening to their support act New City Kings.

New City Kings are completely different to what I would usually listen to or be associate with. And I like proving people wrong, especially when it comes to my taste in music. Normally people just expect me to love every single typical boyband and bubblegum-pop artist and don't accept that I like a lot of different music. Pretty much anything other than classical, opera and screamo stuff. And this band, surprisingly, are right up my street.

Here are the links to some of my favourite songs;

Shooting Me Down

Change

Breaking Away

Giving Up

And of course if you want to find out more about New City Kings head over to their website http://newcitykings.co.uk/ to find everything from free music  to tour dates to merchandise!

Just putting it out there (before anyone criticises me for it!) I have no idea how to describe music properly or technically. So I'm going to leave that up to you. Leave your three word review in the comments!
